On the previous installment of our free ebook library, we had to create a seperate page manually for each download page. Now this process is more automated when listing new ebooks for download. The old download pages also were laden with banner ads in an effort to help pay for the time involved in maintaining the growing library of ebooks made available for free. The banner ads proved to be a waste of time with $0 revenue throughout the more than 2 years of displaying them. Therefore we have switched to a more tasteful display of an rectangular adsense banner on each download page. The new ads are more relevant to the content of our website and does not detract from the user-friendliness of the website overall. We understand that the strong Google brand should create more confidence for users of the Free ebook Library that the ads are safe to click on. The more revenue raised from our streaming Adsense ads throughout this website helps pay for us to continue adding more free ebooks and make further enhancements to the various useful free components of the website. While the main aim of this website is to sell second hand books, this website is also aimed at providing a community service on a global platform. Unfortunately, sales being what they are these days (a slow trickle at best), any additional revenue helps keep us afloat. The FREE ebook library also has an RSS Feed, so you can stay up to date with new additions available for download from your RSS reader. Take a look at our recent article about RSS feeds for more info on this subject.
