The jacket shows a detail from a frieze on the Ptolemaic temple of Horus at Edfu with the goddess Isis wearing the vulture headdress surmounted by the moon and cow's horns, the emblems of Hathor. It is believed that Cleopatra was the model for this representation of the goddess, but whether or not that is true, this artistry is definitely of her period.
