Curiosity Bookshop Sales Terms & Conditions 1. Payment All payments to the Curiosity Bookshop are accepted in Australian dollars ($AU). The Curiosity Bookshop accepts the following forms of payment for products purchased on the website: 1.1. All Major Credit Cards accepted via PayPal 1.1.1. We accept all major credit cards using a safe and easy to use payment gateway called PayPal. The payment gateway provides instant payment within in a secure environment. Customers that choose to pay by major credit card do not require a PayPal account to have a payment processed, but can simply complete the payment form and click the submit button. 1.1.2. Paypal purchases are protected with SSL encryption technology, 100% Customer Protection program of purchases up to US$200.00. International customers must select ‘credit card’ to purchase from the Curiosity Bookshop website. 1.2. Personal & Business Cheques 1.2.1. Cheques are to be made out to the name of Dan Roe. 1.2.2. Please allow up to 6 working days for cheque clearance before dispatch of the purchased item. 1.2.3. Dishonored cheques fees charged to any bank accounts held by the Curiosity Bookshop or Dan Roe will be invoiced to any customer who provides a cheque that is subsequently dishonored. 1.3. Money Orders 1.3.1. Money Order payments are to be made out to the name of Dan Roe. 1.3.2. Items purchased by Money Order will be dispatched upon delivery of the Money Order to the Collectable Bookshop postal address. 2. Postage & Shipping 2.1. All items purchased within the Commonwealth of Australia will be sent to the customer’s nominated address via regular Australia Post unless otherwise arranged via written correspondence with Curiosity Bookshop staff. 2.2. Postage costs are automatically calculated by the Curiosity Bookshop website and displayed during the purchasing process. 3. Warranties 3.1. All second hand products purchased from the Curiosity Bookshop are sold as described. However, all items are refundable within 14 days if returned to our staff in the same condition as it was found at the time of purchase. 3.2. The customer pays the delivery cost of returning the item to the Curiosity Bookshop. Curiosity Bookshop will pay the cost of delivery of replacement if available. 3.3. If refund is chosen, Curiosity Bookshop will refund the sale value of the book by Paypal refund or other agreed payment method. 3.4. Curiosity Bookshop accepts no liability for items not delivered by Australia Post. 3.5. All items over $40.00 combined value will be sent via Registered Australia Post and you will receive a tracking number that can be used to locate your item within Australia Post. 4. Product Availability 4.1. The availability of a product is shown on each product page of the Curiosity Bookshop website. 4.2. The availability of a product is determined by the shown quantity available for purchase and the length of time between purchase and dispatch of the item sold. 4.3. Because the Curiosity Bookshop mainly deals in second hand products, limited numbers of specific products (e.g book titles) are available. Curiosity Bookshop will endeavor to alter stock availability as it is represented on the website to reflect actual values whenever necessary, however the right is reserved to sell stock that is listed on the website customers that purchase from our physical store. If you purchase a product from our website that is not available, you will be informed promptly (usually within 24 hours). 5. Product Condition 5.1. The majority of products offered by the Curiosity Bookshop are second-hand. Unless otherwise specified, all products made available on the curiosity bookshop website, as well as at our store, are provided “as is”. 5.2. Each product’s condition is professionally described to convey its true condition and is priced accordingly as well as to comparable market value. Descriptions of condition, however, may be limited to general or obvious attributes of its overall condition. 6. Special Offers & Coupons 6.1. The Curiosity Bookshop website may advertise special offers and coupons from time to time. Special offers and coupons may be presented to you directly via email or private message facility within your Curiosity Bookshop member account. 6.2. When available, coupons may be obtained either by visiting the Curiosity Bookshop’s physical address, by email newsletter subscription, or as a result of a purchase from the website. A coupon will have a coupon number subscribed to it that you can enter into the “coupon box” during your next purchase. 6.3. A coupon provides a discount on products purchased from Curiosity Bookshop or can give a $AUD value store credit.
