About the Authors:-

Geoffrey Brennan - Australia's 'self acclaimed' leading comic poet. Successfully published two books of Aussie comic verse -"Is he Aussie ?" and 'Aussies, mossies, ratbags and flamin' great galahs'. He is endowed with the body and head of an anorexic racing ferret wearing a toupee and beard hand knitted from a rusty steelwool pot scrubber !! Loves a drink ! Loves a punt ! and loves a verbal barney, which has come to fruition in this war of words with his duellin' opponent - Peter McArthur.
Peter McArthur - Has been involved in amateur theatre over the past decade, having performed, written and produced for several companies. He has also written numerous poems, a selection of which are published in 'The poet in us all' (Proceeds of which were donated to the Peter Macallum cancer institute).
Many readers will know Peters waggish voice, chuckle and madcap sense of humour as a familiar companion through the popular 'Aussies on the line' radio program, which he co-hosts with friend Glen Heyne.
